Viva La Europe

My girlfriend, Jia, finally have made her way to Greenland. She's gon be staying there and working there for a whole year. Oh...how i admire her courage so much! I saw her pictures on those glaciers and it was just gorgeous.

I can't help but to fantasize about backpacking thru Europe. I would love to go to...

France especially Southern France during Spring where the sunflowers are in full bloom. The real beauty of France is in the countryside and small villages. Driving along a quiet countryside road near Toulouse, Southern France and see the beautiful Le Chateaus.

Other places that i dreamed of going is Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Greece, Denmark, Prague, Spain, Holland, Finland, Norway, Russia, Austria, Poland, Belgium, Hungary and Romania. Basically cover the whole Europe and capture the beautiful lanscapes.

Boring Oregon City?

Even when i was in Oregon, i never managed to go to the mountain. I can only see the view of the misty mountain from afar. In the pic below, that is exactly how i saw the view of Mount Hood from Portland City.

I have yet to explore...

Oregon Coast

Multnomah Falls, Oregon, Benson Bridge.

Crater Lake National Park, Oregon

Smith Rock State Park, Oregon

So Oregon is definitely not boring. The city of Portland are noted for it's convenience, livability, cleanliness and affordability. I will have to fully explore my 2nd home, State of Oregon, first and all the other American States & Islands and even Canada too before i venture out to Europe. I know i will achieve it one day. Inshaallah.

BLESSED and LOVED
10:11 AM

You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I'm dressed,
You know me not for what's inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride,

My body is not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mould,
I'm an individual, I'm no mans slave,
It's Allah's pleasure that I only crave,

I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,

"O ye women, wrap close your cloak, so you won't be bothered by ignorant folk"

Man doesn't tell me to dress this way,
It's a law from God that I obey,
Oppressed is something I'm truly NOT,
For liberation is what I've got,

It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper, the right to grow,
I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees,

For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY,
When He sent Islam,
To You and Me!
